What is the Onewheel Algarve?
The OWA is an immersive series of events that caters to the heart and soul of every Onewheel rider, from beginners to pros!!
Get ready because 2026 will be a year of adrenaline fueled Onewheel extravaganza! With three distinct concepts on the horizon, the OWA promises an unforgettable experience for riders and spectators alike.
This year we’re introducing a new event, the OWARC! This event is for the racers out there who want to improve their results during the season. This event will have very limited spots to ensure our coaches can teach you one-on-one to improve your experience! Get ready to start sliding into podiums this season!
We’re bringing back to you the OWAWeekend! This is for those seeking an intimate trail riding adventure, the OWAW will be small capacity events happening several times throughout the year that promise a unique blend of excitement and camaraderie. Get ready to explore a 50km offroad path that follows a river-side forest trail in the depths of the Algarve heart.
Then the iconic OWATour is back and even better. The tour will serve as a fantastic way to get to know the Algarve, a 400km ride with the gnarliest of trails. Prepare to be amazed as the picturesque south coast will serve as the backdrop for an epic journey on your Onewheel.*
Finally, feel the competitive spirit ignite at the OWARace! The European Onewheel League comes back to Portugal! Here, the best riders in Europe throughout the season will qualify to compete head-to-head for the title of European Champion! But that’s not all, even if you don’t qualify for the EOL finals, on the OWAR you can also compete for tons of prizes on our unique competitions, the OWAGames, the ∞ Race, the Surf&Dirt Race, the Apocalypse Race and the BETR!
We’re setting things up so that if you want to do both the OWAT and the OWAR, you don’t need to spend a lot of money on transportation by coming here multiple times. They’re happening right after one another!
*Please keep in mind that the Tour is a big challenge! The Tour is not just a chill group ride and at the same time it’s not a race, we’ll have to ride a lot and keep up a tight schedule, at the end of the day we’re crossing a country on Onewheels, it’s an adventure. In things like this problems will arise which are out of our control, boards can break, there might be a lot of rain, we might encounter closed roads due to construction, and we never know what might happen. What we know for sure is that even when things don’t go our way (which happened every year so far), we’ll be having fun and enjoying an adventure of a lifetime. Great friendships and unforgettable memories, that’s what the OWA is all about!
Onewheel Algarve Race Camp

Onewheel Algarve Tour
Location - Algarve (Starting point will be the OWARace track)
Date - September 23rd (2 pm) till 30th (3pm)
Price - 1950 €
Limited to 30 tickets!
400 km (~250mi) Ride!
Coastline train from the OWARace track to the Portuguese border with Spain
All food included, breakfast lunch and dinner

The biggest Onewheel event in Europe is back! From September 23rd till 30th the Onewheel Algarve Tour will take you across the Algarve where you’ll explore not only the hidden trails and big cities along the coast but also extra trails on the interior of the Algarve and old monuments!
In the OWATour we made sure that from the moment you reach the OWARace track until you have to leave a week later, you don’t need to worry about anything at all, food, accommodation, transportation, etc. We got you covered!
We’ll spend some time in our favourite places, take a moment the enjoy nature and relax a bit more, but don’t relax too much, WE GOTTA GO LET’S GOO LET’S GOOOO!

This ticket is for people aged 14 and youger. It grants access to the EOL Groms Finals if the rider has qualified to race there, and all other competitions we will have during the event.

How do you get here?

If you are driving to come over here it will be very easy. The name of the location is “Pista de Corta Mato das Açoteias”, but you can just search for “OWAlgarve” on the map.
If by any chance it doesn’t show up, look for AP Victoria Sports & Beach Hotel, the event is right next to it.

You should look for a flight to FAO Airport.
From there the fastest way is getting a taxi/uber to the event location. (~30€)
The cheapest way is to get the bus from the airport to the train station and get the train to BOLIQUEIME. Once there you’re only 5km away so a quick taxi/uber ride to the event will get you here. (~15€)
In the event you come by plane the shipping address for your board will be provided after you buy the ticket
