What’s included?

  • Your coaches will share their tips on best practice, racing techniques, VESC tuning, board selection and walk you through different features to help improve over the weekend.

Since there’ll be very limited spots, the trail clinics will be more personalized to your needs, you’ll have the trail experts riding next to you all day long!

  • 3 special race tracks will be assembled on the European Onewheel League Finals track to test your skills in both head-to-head and solo timed runs in an encouraging and friendly environment.

We will be setting up some features within these tracks, including Shakira.

  • You can measure your own personal progression with timed runs both on the race track and on our specially selected tracks along the Falesia cliffs!

The coaches can also collect video footage of your runs, to analyse your performance after the run, and provide tailored advice on how to progress.

  • When you arrive each person will have a goodie bag (some of which is going to be used during training).

Each individual will have a bottle of water available at the track and a charging station will also be set up on the track.

There will be an awards ceremony (everyone gets an award!) with a keep sake to remind you of the amazing time you’ve had!

  • We like to take a scientific approach to our racing! Learn how to understand and optimise your VESC tune for each kind of race track, and also learn the fundamentals of different board setups and the pro’s and con’s of each - for example, tires, footpads, rails.

There will be lots of different boards to try during the event as well, to help you make an informed decision!

  • Dinner on the Sunday will be included and will be at Fábio’s restaurant, the famous Frango Real, just a two minute Onewheel from the track.

We will celebrate all your hard work as a group!

Meet the Coaches

  • Dan Turner

Well known for his crop top race attire, Dan was 2025 EOL Men’s season 2nd place and final 2nd place.

He has a background in electrical engineering, software development and AI, which may be why he has such extensive board building and VESC tuning experience! All four of his high voltage race boards are fully custom and designed by himself.

  • People riding and waiting for scooters on a city street at night, some wearing helmets and backpacks.

    Fábio Costa

Known to Onewheel Algarve as the original coach, Fábio is one of the founding members of the European Onewheel League and has been riding since the Onewheel+ was released in 2017. He is also a part of the Ride Hermes Underground Circuit committee.

He was voted Best European Trail Rider in 2022 and has some serious skill and technique, especially on the Falésia cliffs!

  • Person wearing a helmet and plaid shirt skateboarding on a dirt trail through a wooded area with green and brown foliage.

    Jess Jones

Jess was EOL women’s season and finals champion in 2025, which is the first time there has ever been a first place season and finals position taken by one rider!

Following some serious progression and lightbulb moments over winter before the 2025 season, Jess has some great progression experience to share with other riders.

Accommodations

Accommodation is NOT INCLUDED in the OWARC ticket but here’s a few options close to the event

AP Victoria Sports & Beach Hotel

Aerial view of a residential complex with a swimming pool, surrounded by trees, with a sports field in the background and the ocean in the distance.

A great hotel and the perfect option for those who want to come a few days before or stay a few days after the event.

The closest place to the meeting point. You see those trees at the bottom left of the photo, yeah that’s part of the track where we meet.

Aldeia da Falésia

A quiet residential area with white houses, palm trees, a paved sidewalk, and a lamppost under a clear blue sky.

An area with a lot of small houses, this is perfect for groups and for those who don’t want to spend that much on accommodation.

It’s just 300mt from the meeting point and definitely the cheapest option around!

Epic Sana Algarve Hotel

Aerial view of a beachfront resort with multiple swimming pools, surrounded by lush trees and modern buildings, with the ocean visible in the background.

The most luxurious place around, perfect for someone who’s coming with the family to enjoy much more than just the Onewheel event.

And also just 300mt away from the meeting point it’s a great option to stay and relax a few days after the event.
